Christopher (Christy) Sneyd was born in Dublin on the 25th of December 1886. At the time of his birth Christy’s parents were living at 18 Fountain Place, off Nth. Brunswicke in Dublin 7. His parents were Daniel  and Catherine Sneyd (Nee Byrne). 

Christy’s father Daniel was a stationary engine driver. Christy was an ordinary working class Dublin man and he worked at various occupations including labourer, coal dealer and Delivery Man.  This site is dedicated to him and his descendants.
